Welcome to the ‘Conscious Obeya’ page! I’m Jos van Minderhout, based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. My passion is to unite people from all corners of the globe and nearby, creating a platform for learning and experiencing together. I excel at making new concepts practical and driving momentum for fresh ideas.

I recognize a growing desire among individuals and organizations to act more meaningfully and align closely with society and nature. Over the past few years, I’ve honed my ability to cultivate self-awareness and lead with heart. By integrating these principles with business frameworks like Obeya, we can accelerate progress and tackle the significant challenges ahead.
My theoretical knowledge is reinforced by certifications such as Obeya Facilitator (LWO), Transformational Leadership & Systemic Coaching (ICTP), Enterprise Agile Coach (ICA), Professional Coaching (ICF), and Team Coaching (EMCC), combined with practical experience in leading transformations in organizations and coaching leaders and teams.
My Story
In the spring of 2022, I decided to leave my job to integrate my professional experiences with my personal growth in yoga, meditation, and self-development. After 16 years at Vattenfall, where I spent the latter part leading agile transformations across four different units, I developed two key interests: Individual Transformation and System Transformation.
My first interest, Individual Transformation, focuses on ‘how do we show up’ and our role in the transformation process. Alan Seale’s book, Transformational Presence, guided me to make each moment truly transformational by acting on the potential present in any situation and understanding what it asks of us.
The second interest, System Transformation, involves understanding the environment where transformation occurs. Tim Wiegel’s book, Leadership with Obeya, provided a practical approach to discussing and operationalizing these insights with teams, fostering a collaborative environment to realize organizational transformation through structured events and rhythms.
Driven by the desire to connect these two topics, I developed a workshop that emphasizes being present and aware while also making collective decisions and actions. Over these last past years, I have been coaching leaders, teams and other coaches to harness their potential and intent to create a World that Works!
Through these experiences and exercises, I discovered my vision and mission: to sense and activate creative power and heart connections, generating meaningful products and communities where people can work and live together harmoniously.
